But you would have to throw a toy for him all the way down the track.

I have had to use food now , since he has gone blind he can't find the toy anymore. Hey, what do you want for a 120 year old Lab? My Boxer could drive, but he can't reach the pedals. And he might stop half track to lick himself or fart. Or both. You know how Boxers are , it is all about them.

Les,that YOU I taked to this spring? Sorry I forgot your name from that phone call... My Bad...

But in cleaning out my desk a month ago I came across your phone name and phone # from when I had the car for sale..I vaguely remember talking to you about the car then [2000/2001 ish] I was begging EVERYBODY to buy that car at the time...Nobody wanted it. I had it for sale for over two years...

Someone told me you sold the car...guess they were wrong and that's why I mentioned to the 'best of my knowledge..'

Again, I was just responding to a year old post about a car I use to own..sorry if I got some info mixed up.

My current project is the 'Russ Dunmire' 68 Hurst Olds drag car. Yep THAT 68 Hurst Olds....

[/ QUOTE ]

You mean the one that got rolled after it had been sold to a new owner but before it was delivered?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yep THAT Hurst Olds. The car was not hurt nearly as bad as it may have looked. When I re-restored 6S011 I have more time on my hands and more employees....Now I've only be able to amass parts for 'Russ'... Hope to get it the shop and get serious on it this winter.

Here's a pic for those interested....

Mel Burns car in action. Spoke to the driver Don Mccain a while back. He is working for Shelby on a project for Performance Associates. Just like the old days. This 65 was painted blue and raced some more and then supposedly sold and stolen, never to be seen again. Bummer.

The owner of this car before Colin would drive it to the same gym in Irvine I go to. I use to get a kick out of the owner actually driving the car around.

What happened with this build? It's been years since an update has been made.
