Found this in carb.
Power valves and accelerator pump were STIFF. Ran but a little sick. This is how it was when shee bought it. Test drive was a little shaky. All good now. Went down slightly from factory specs on power valves and jets. All it gets is 110 racing gas and it likes it. Plug wires are repops. Working on a NOS set but not complete yet. Dist not changed yet and smog hoses are 71 in pic. 69 hoses were not on yet. |

Fuel pump rebuild
Fred Ballard
[email protected] He will rebuild and not restore. This has been a good reminder that I need mine rebuilt as well. Cheers, Marty |

Stereo is good.
Thanks and it will head his way Monday. Was wondering what to do with it. Did not dare use it as stiff as it is. Accelerator pump and power valves were very stiff also. THANKS again Dave |

Before pics are here and will post after pics when back.
"Survivor" service is $275.00 with $30.00 return shipping for any interested. Fred said the return time is quicker on this type rebuild without plating. Said it should look pretty much the same. "R" distributor cap cleaned up nice. Aircraft stripper made short work of the overspray. Factory points should have the old Delce Remy on top of arm? Condenser same on end? May as well get them too. Info says these points are the stiffer spring ones for HP motors? Last edited by daveg; 07-23-2024 at 05:59 PM. Reason: add pics |

Looks good
Looks good to me. Are you pleased with the results? Looks like all the patina is untouched and still looks as original. Can you post a pick if the back where he has to slice it to get the bottom off?
Thanks for sharing. Marty |
