I installed the core support, and started biting on the hood release support.

These are big shiny parts that look like major progress.

I have so many parts ready to go on the front clip :-)

So the hood latch support goes under the core support not on top:-)

Learning every day!! Pictures of hownit came apart, plus the Assy Manual,
Plus the service manual are keeping me moving.

I installed the headlight buckets (maybneed to pull them back off but that is easy Peesy.

Installed the hood latch

Installed the rad support isolators.

Man I love installing things!!!

I have to figure out the wipers and install the windshield trim at the. Ottom as it goes under the fenders :-( FU&$

I’ll know so much after this!!!

Evaporust!!! Why did I wait to try it??

Did my hood hinges, wiper linkage, and started doing various fasteners..... everything comes out like new....

Killer stuff!

Agree 100%, and I bought it two years ago but had a mental block thinking I wanted to save it for the right stuff.... or just stubborn.... (highly likely)

Learning!!

So I have 17 extra days in my MCACN preparations schedule.... and everything takes me 9 times longer than expected.... so I am working daily and trying to keep up to my schedule....

Today I almost made it.... raced after work with packing materials and mailed my wiper motor off to Chicago for rebuild/resto.

Media blasted and matt cleared fasteners for the front clip that had been oversprayed so Evaporust wouldn’t have worked.

Cleaned the back side of the front fenders.... mostly....it got so dark I wasn’t making any progress.... they are nice!!! One of them has a production line number on the back.... what does it mean?

W30797

I have seen several with a W31 on the back as the OAI has many different parts.

Hmm....

My brother came over to help tonight!!

4 Hands are better than 2!!!! Thanks Adam Weaver for your help tonight this was a real milestone!!! It looks like a car again!!! The fenders seemed to want to line up, with no shims and half the bolts in they are within 1/4” of where they need to be, and we put the trunk lid on just because we could 🙂
