Talking Beyond thankful

Well fella's ... I have to say this did not feel like a business trip to me. I had an absolutely amazing time. To meet a group of people and to just be able to blend in and talk and laugh like we have known each other for years made me feel completely at home. The hospitality that everyone showed was just mind blowing. Congrats to Freddy for taking home the crate engine and a handful of gift certificates. . . Thank you to Doug, Ken. S, Dennis, Jaime, Rusty and yes even Andy and Howie lol for making me feel like one of the boys. It was a time to remember.

Hello everyone, we at Mascar had a blast, there were challenges, but we all worked together and overcame them. The BBQ was delicious ……… WOW that alone was worth the trip. Everybody at this event are wonderful car loving people and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Lots of cool cars, and we were able to work with the track owner (thank you Doug) and convinced him to reopen the track for a few hours, as it was very important that we got our runs in on the Mr. Deplorable 1969 Rambler Scrambler. We have a very small window to get the car dialed in before we have to tear it down and create a show car out of it. If we were not able to get those passes in, we may not have had time to get the car finished in time for the MCACN event, it will be challenging enough as it is. Well we got 3 passes in and hit our numbers, best pass 9.20 145 mph. Our goal was to build a high 8 second car and we are right there, we need to make a few minor adjustments and we will be in the 8.50- 8.70 range at sea level all natural. Thank you all once again, looking forward to next year ………… Doug ………… I am thinking about having Kenny, Adam, Bret, Dennis and the gang build us a Nostalgic Jet Engine Drag Car for next year ………….. OH Shit!

I had a great time at SCR 20. Thanks to everyone who sacrifices their time, and puts so much effort into making this one of the best events around. All of the great cars in attendance are just a side note to all the friendly people who are there. The cars are what make the event, but the people are what make it great! Already looking forward to next year!

All I can say is I am blessed to have such great friends to work together and put together a show for the people to become friends with great cars ... our intention is to bring awareness to the Super Cars and enjoy good folks without the drama !!

I personally want to say thanks to everyone who is involved with putting such a great event together. It takes a lot of work to pull something like this off.

Karen and I had a great time as usual. Jason's barbecue was amazing. The weather was definitely a bummer but we all made the best of it and still got some racing in thanks to our friends from California.

The best part about this show is the people.....we get to relax and joke around.......meeting up with friends, old and new.

I hope to return again next year and try for the COPO Pete Shootout trophy!!!

Thanks again, Kurt
