I'm a huge TT fan (I just put a set on my car) and absolutely hated Cragars when I was younger - but as I get older I find that a set of big/little Cragars on a first gen Camaro is a killer look. Years back when I first saw Grady's red 67 with the L88 at one of the SCR's in Joliet helped change my mind on Cragars...........
Can't go wrong with whatever you decide. |

---- My favorite of the ones I had was a dark grey metallic with light grey leather and vinyl top one. I was seriously thinking of slapping a 454 in it at the time. I even had Nova big block frame mounts and a few other things for it, but came to my senses. It was too good a driver just as it was!.....Bill S

Great story. So the car came with the original black but with an L88 in there?
I like the Cragars more. |

The car was apart when the 2nd owner was killed. The car was getting raced. The blueprinted OM (L78) was there as was the 427 short block. The original L78 heads, intake, and carb were installed on the 427 (albeit heavily ported) thinking that was the next progression for the car. I'm still partial to the Cragar's as well ![]() |

Torque Thrusts are the way to go, especially on a blue 68'
I may be biased on TT's over Cragar's, but I calls em' as I see them. And they are in fact lighter!!! ![]()

Carrying on the Day 2 theme of the car, a proper vintage A212CW is now in place.
![]() I made a deal on the remaining A212CW's from Bill Pankiw (Big Block Bill). Straight up guy to do business with ![]() |
