I went to the Torq Storm Dust Off at US 131 Dragway a couple of weeks ago. They were running the FAST and Factory Stock classes along with a few other classes. I had seen most of the cars running in both of those classes so I didn't take many pictures of them. I did get one of Bob Karakashian's Factory Stock class winning 70 Hemi Cuda. He's been running this car for a number of years now. It's a bench seat car with a TorqueFlite and runs in the 11.70's.

My favorite class there was the Ice Screamers Naturally Aspirated class. These guys had a display at MCACN in '23 and this Astro Blue 70 Malibu was one of the cars in the display. It is owned by Wayne Proper and was running in the 9.30's.

This Cameo Beige 65 Impala was the winner in the IS NA class. It is powered by a 598ci engine and was running in the 9.10's. It is owned by Eric Flitsch. On his first pass of the day he put it up on the back bumper literally and carried the front wheels for about 300' before setting it down. He tamed it down a bit after that.

This Candy Apple Red 69 Nova was also running in the 8.60 Index class. I'm not sure who owns this car but it had a very nice paint job.

Dan Sharp won the Small Tire No Time class in his 63 Chevy II that is powered by a 540 with twin turbos. They were just running to the 1/8th mile and had the scoreboards turned off but I know this car runs mid-7's in the quarter. This is a true street car that he drives to local car shows and cruise-ins. I believe he said it weighs around 3,200 lbs.

Keith Shooltz was the runner up in the Small Tire No Time class in his Malibu. It is powered by a 400+ci small block with a lot of nitrous. This is a true race car and only weighs about 2,200 lbs.
