Very big difference between the 1968 Mr. Norm's Husrt built M Code 440 Darts (48 built) and the 1969 Chrysler built cars (most agree 640 built)...just ask Mike G (Sixtiesmuscle) or read the chapter in the book. Just to clarify, the book is titled "Million-Dollar Muscle Cars" but if you look at it there are three sections - one for million dollar cars, one for six figure cars (ie, 100k-999k), and one for alternatives (cheaper still).

Hopefully Bimbi can get this car to show up at SCR11??? I seem to recall pictures of it at the Forge in a magazine a while back. |

Mr.Corner is quite correct the M code 68 with the 440 is the ultra rare impossible to find Dart with perhaps only 8 still around? However I do believe the 48 were converted to Mr. Norm's specs by the Hurst/Campbell company not the much lesser known and cheaper Husrt company? Mr. Husrt had a checkered past and his conversions are universally rejected by all the serious collectors. It's in my book Million Peso Pinto's chapter four.

No doubt that a '68 M code is much more rare than a '69 M code Dart. There is a registry, and only a small percentage are accounted for. Mr. Norm also sold quite a few of the '69 Cars and performance dealers in the know, were able to order these special cars as an RPO.

I started and move the car yesterday. As a guy with me said , that car sounds hungry. It is meaner than "Hitler". This car is extremely fast and sounds wicked! I think it is perhaps the nicest "M" code in exitence with bulletproof paperwork.
