Don't think twice about it Norm...pack the truck and granny's rocker and hit the road!.
Like Ronnie Hawkins and Conway Twitty said "Canada's the promised land!".
Although things are different in the larger citys, many small Canadian towns are still much like the good ol' days!.
Seriously, I thank God each and everyday I am where I am and for being able to raise my kids in as much of the old world as still exists!.

I agree. We have only had people fighting and dying for this wonderful place for a couple hundred years.... If you do leave will you round up all the others that said they were leaving 8 years ago and give them a map too. I do however hope that you and your wife find work and get some insurance soon. I know exactly how you feel. I just finished paying my enourmous hospital bills off from a couple years ago after surgery and several months out of work with no insurance. I have had to sell some things over the years I didn't really want to... Friends and family and my own hard work in my opinion are always better than letting my government wipe my butt for me. I think i'll stay here in good ol America and even better than that way down here in the good ol South. I like it just fine.
