Man, alot of great names, but if I have to pick one its gotta be Chuck Berry, if you get a chance pick up a copy of his "Blue" version of "Reelin and a Rockin", its insane and it's great.
FYI: every single word in Little Richards "Tutti Fruiti" had to be changed before they would record it, also a great great act. HUGE Rolling Stones fan but the tip of the hat goes to Chuck.
