Wow! Love the big 2+2! What a great combination, runs like an absolute beast, rides like a cloud. What an awesome sleeper. The 428 emblem mounted on the console is also very kool.
If my aging memory is correct the 428 was rated around 370 or 375 hp. Anybody know if this was the true horsepower? A 428 dropped in a first generation Firebird would be a fun ride for sure.

[/ QUOTE ] The 'standard' 428 was rated at 360hp, the HO version was rated at 376hp...long branch manifolds and all.  Rare car for sure, nothing like a row_your_own biggin'.   Mike
