A 70 T/A I could actually afford, so tempting...

Great car. It isn't that far away from being a solid driver or show car. It's also an appreciating asset. If I didn't own the Tirebird you'd have a check. You might want to let the folks at the National Firebird and TransAm club know about the sale. There are probably some interested buyers there.

Would this car have a 12 Bolt rear axle being a 1970 model? It appears to have a 10 bolt from the pics I have seen. Overall nice car for the money though.

Paul:
1970 was the only year that you could get a 12-Bolt in a Firebird. It was included as part of the Trans Am package. One of the reasons that '70 T/As are so very cool! Can you tell I have one? Possibly my favorite car, 31,000 Miles, Original Paint, Born with Drivetrain, Ram Air III, M21, 3.55:1 Posi 12-Bolt and White with Black Interior. I'd give an appendage for a Ram Air IV car though. I'm really shocked that this car didn't sell before it made it to E-bay. A 70 1/2 four speed Trans Am is an awesome car. I think that everyone is so hung up about having to own a Ram Air IV car that examples like this are reasonable still. I mean c'mon, it 99% the same car as a RAIV.

Paul:
I haven't dug it out of it's long winter nap yet, but I will put some up in the next couple of weeks. I bought a 1969 Trans Am Ram Air III (Original Engine) 4-Speed, Deluxe Interior (Blue), Factory Tach, Step Gauges car over the Winter and I'm dying to get them out together for some photo ops. I found a great little place over on Cider Mill Road with an old barn for a back-drop. I'm working on it but, we just dropped back into the 40s with constant rain in Indiana. Ed
