Kurt,
These AG wheels have been on this car for 30 years. Visually you can not tell one difference. I am putting new tires on the car this weekend and was wanting to know if I should put the AG's in the rear or YH's in the rear. Looks like I will be leaving it alone with the YH's in the rear and the AG's in the front. (dang, now I am getting confuses...) Or maybe it does not matter one bit. Hmmmm, not sure.... Oh, what is a FW?

AG's are the stuff, they used to be like hens teeth, we ran them on the front as like the guys said they will barely let a 15x8 trim ring on, put some 15x8's on the back and with the wide trim rings and state patrol caps a guy has a clean and mean look and no buzzing from the front,

No, AG's are the 68 15x7 negative offset wheel.
If you look at the wheel, the area where the trim ring goes looks wider. If they are not rubbing and they look OK, run 'em. FW are the same as YH, just newer and they are everywhere and cheap.

Great info!
But I still need to know if I need to run the AG's in the rear or in the front????? Which wheel is going to stick out (towards the outside) that .2 further???? Oh, I looked last night. The AG's are currently in the front with the YH's in the rear. I am putting new GY Wide Treads tomorrow and I want to make sure I put the right set of wheels in the rear... Thanks, Anthony |

--------Anthony,,,I know a bit about these two wheels that may help. I have tried to use both on 65/67 Corvettes to gain an extra inch of wheel width and despite what has been said about what the books say about offset I think its more like an inch difference or close to it. I have tried to install the 68 Vette style on earlier Vettes and had interference problems with the outer wheel lip. The YH wheels on the other hand gave me about an inch of clearance. Use the AGs on the back of your ride........Bill S

Perfect, thanks for the info Bill!
I will eventually pick up two more YH's. But for now I can live with the AG's in the rear. Heck, I can not tell a difference. But there is a slighly wider gap between the beuty ring and the center of the wheel if comparing to the YH's. Its only noticable after talking with folks on here..... Thanks again!
