That's exactly the reason I would never use it.

And I'm sure that they asked for your permission to use your photo for the catalog?

They could have at least blanked out the license plate. What moron let that pass through proof reading?
Tom, you might want to hold off on that stamp collection.
However, the Ohio BWC has some old coins that they bought as an investment that they are selling. Seems that the original $5 mil investment wasn't really authorized...

You need an attorney,..a copyright attorney, and as soon as possible. Many businesses buy graphics and pictures from companies that sell those products. These companies license and sell the pictures on the basis that they control the rights to these products. Maybe they got a false release from a photographer who had your picture,..you don't know. You need to find out. Because, not just Dynacorn, but possibly dozens of other companies have paid for your car's picture to a company who had no right to sell it. So, get an attorney and have him/her get busy unraveling who's buying and who's selling your picture without your permission. It could mean a few more Yenko's in your collection by the time all the dust settles.

The hobby has sucked for some time. And no, it's not sour grapes about the current prices-- It's because there are a lot of people out there trying to make money; essentially playing on the strongest buyer's criteria-- Emotion.

Example: I was visiting my family in Boston a few years back, and we went to Camaro/Firebird day-- A local outdoor car show event. There was a Rallye Green '69 Z that some clown was trying to sell; it looked great as a 10-footer for sure, but when you got close, there was all sorts of stuff wrong with the car, not including the obvious-to-me repairs to the rear 1/4's and floors that were done very poorly.

Anyway, I got to talking to the guy thinking it may be possible to get the car for a song, and the one thing I distinctly remember is him saying "If I don't get what I want for it here today, it's going on e-Bay." I just thought to myself how absolutely pissed I would be if I were any significant distance from Boston, paid what this guy wanted for the car, and was delivered a hunk of [censored] that I was now stuck with.

It's been said before, but the hobby sucks because it's more investing rather than enthusiast ownership. Who wants to lose money? Uh-- Nobody. So, it makes perfect sense that the hobby has turned into what it is.
