Anyone keeping a list of clones on this site for others to see/check in case we come across a car we're looking at?

[/ QUOTE ]

What has been happening is that VINs of cloned or faked cars have been posted in full here in the threads so that someone can come to the site and do a search on a VIN and pull up any previous discussions on a given car.

What also happens with these auctions is sellers have friends bid-up the price or use the buy it now. The goal is to drive prices higher. I looked at a Z11 a few months ago. It was sold 3 times over ebay before I looked at it. The seller still has it and will not budge on his price because, as he said, it sold for 15k when it was listed. He even tried to convince me that the last buyer (ha ha ) gave him a $500.00 deposit and never showed up to take the car. It's a shame the car is a total mess. I believe it truely was a Z11 396-375 horse 4 spd car, but an obviuos repro cowl tag, different motor, questionable rear axle, and more rust than the Titanic made me move on.

Always do your research!!!

Nick

It's Back.

Sooner than I thought, but I knew we'd all see it again.

<font color="blue"> Jeff,
Both cars are certified to be complete #'s cars and have been featured in numerous magazines and television shows ESPN etc. They do not have build sheets or protecto plates . Without a doubt these are two of the finest in existence! If you want particular #'s just let me know.

Thanks, </font>
