38M190455 decodes to
3 - Olds 8 - 1968 M - Lansing 190455 - 190455th car down the line The valve covers are GM Performance Parts units and retail for $300 a set new last time I checked. Beyond that you'll have to open it up to see what you have. That looks like the big car (88/98) air cleaner, so assuming it started life on this motor I'd expect small valves, unless someone has upgraded them. |
