This particular photo of my car is currently available to view (or download to a computer

) on both this site (in Members Rides) and on Team Chevelle (January 2003 Feature Car), so it's no real mystery. I did send an email to B-J so we'll see what they have to say, if anything.

Yes, I wonder how many more photos in that booklet have been 'appropriated' from other sources

My gut feeling is that B-J themselves is the guilty party here, in the interest of providing as many photos as possible in their promotional literature. If the seller had actually supplied them with that picture, they would probably have it on the website along with the description of the car, too, and that's not the case.

Bill...why do I have the feeling that the car that's actually up for sale at BJ is the one that went though last year? Why wouldn't they use the photos that they already had of that car?

I'm talking about this one...

Those idiots at B-J

I exchanged several emails with them and they assured me that the owner of the real car to be auctioned was providing them with updated photos

Quote from the second email I received from John Cook:
"I contacted the seller and he sent the wrong photos for that car. He is resending accurate pics that will be used in the future. Thanks for your help. …JC"

I guess he should have said "...resending accurate pics that may or may not be used in the future."

Thanks to aggressive pursuit of this matter by my wife

the picture of my car is now gone from the B-J website....and complimentary admission tickets to the auction are supposed to be on the way to us
