Loma Linda, eh? Back about the time Holly was receiving her transplant, my place of employment was supplying Loma Linda with the proton accelerator they use for cancer treatment at their Proton Treatment Center. I'm proud to say I had a small part in ensuring that accelerator met design specs. Small world, ain't it?

Great story and update..very touching! I have a good friend who is the longest surving Bone Marrow Recipient in Canada. He was #6 in 1980 to receive a doner marrow. By the time he was relesed from Hosp (after 6 months) the other recipients had passed away. 26 years later he is doing fine. Look forward to hearing about Holly 26 years from now.
