Yes, Charlie, your keen eye serves you well. I just picked this car up about a week ago and the 'flaps' are goners as we speak. I am looking for wheel well mouldings that will fit correctly as the originals have holes from installation of the flaps. Any help in finding a set?

I just picked up a set of 15x7 TTO American 5-spokes and I was thinking of running 225/60/15 in the front and 235/60/15 in the rear. I am concerned about the offset of the 5-spokes and I do not want any contact with the wheel well molding. Do you think the 225/60/15 tire might be to short or small in a stock height 69 camaro?

Just as a side note, I ran some Vintage WheelWorks 16x8 torq thrust style wheels on my old 68 and ran 245/50/16's up fornt and 255/50/16's in the rear. The 255/50/16 is a nice fat tire that fits.

i had a 1969 Z10 that I lowered 2 inches all the around with the same wheels but with 245/45/16 in the fronts and the same 255/50/16 in the rear. Car looked great and had minimal rubbing only at full lock.

[/ QUOTE ] I am running BFG's 215/70R15's in the front and 235/70R15's in the back with the new TTO's. The front does rub (when turning) with them on so I took the bottom bolt out of the wheel housing and replaced it with a allen head tapered fit. It is flush. That was all it needed. The back is no problem.

I had a 1968 SS/RS that had 15 x 8's with a 4.5" backspacing and I ran 275-60-15 BFG T/A's in the rear with no issues at all; in fact I think I could have gone a little wider.
