Neat pictures Verne. Anyone else notice how scratched up the rear frame crossmember is on the '66 Impala? Neat photos however.

Hey Bud, it looks like the shroud is just laying on the fan and clutch with the radiator hoses waiting to be mated up to the radiator thats in the car body.

Wow, these are great Vern....more, more! . I noticed the same scratches Rick....better keep a picture to replicate exactly and show the judges? .
The wagon sure looks loaded w/ woodgrain, Mk1V and C60....the fan I don't know either? .
I love the body drop guide rods and how the workers have the mount-biscuits over them and ready....while another Mk1V looks over the one guys shoulder. . Quite the uniforms....must've been casual Friday? .
The guy in the Hawaiian shirt is wondering if anyone will ever notice he used an I instead of a 1 on the engine gang stamp during his morning shift in engine assembly? .
Is the line equipment Chevy Orange?? .

OK, I'll try to dig up some more. I was wondering how many would notice the MKIV that was next to have a body dropped on it. Painted exhaust manifolds and all..... Did anyone notice the little sticker on the rear brake drum? That's a 2 letter code (in red) for the axle designation, so the workers knew which one to pull from the pallets. (they were always on the right drum only)And notice the altitude of the car behind the wagon. These are the pictures that matter the most if someone is trying to perform an historically accurate restoration. Afterall, that's what restoration is supposed to be, right?...............

Oh, and I apologize to Bruce (and everybody). I attached the original size photos by mistake instead of the thumbnails I made at 600x600. (I'm a dummy)

Check out the overspray on the Mark IV exhaust manifolds behind Hawaii 5-0.

OK, I'm going to sneak up on these next ones. They're kind of in order of assembly. This shows a '66 Leaving Fisher Body. It drops through the hole in the floor and meets the Chevrolet assembly line.
