Dan, here's Canadian Docs on a 69 Chevelle 300 Deluxe Hardtop SS. No mention of the B22. If I had to guess, I would agree with you that it is a rubber flooring code, rather than a formal RPO. Some kind of note to tell the line worker not to put in carpet

Don, What is B79 Exterior Ornamentation Rearend?

James, that doc is for an Oshawa car and sometimes they had some RPO's that other plants might not have shown. I would think the B79 is the rear SS 396 emblem. More interesting is the B95 rear end moldings. The base 300 Deluxe models did not have these, but the Malibus did as standard equipment. If you ordered the SS on a 300 Deluxe model it was necessary to add these moldings.

We did not restore this Post Sedan...however it is a very nice complete frame off restoration.
It was restored near Kansas City area.

Mark....yes this is the Van Chevrolet Chevelle.

If anyone is looking for any factory dealer name plates such as this one....Mark (396L35) collects them and found this one for me at a very fair price.
