I found some Pontiac books that show no superceded # for this part# in group 3.278..but I contacted a Pontiac "expert" of sorts and showed him your picture.
He suggested trying either part #478415 which is 1&3/4 inches long,or part #492028,which is 2&1/2 inches long.
There is another that might work, part #478417,but this is with cruise control.
These are all Pontiac #'s,and all have different measurements and angles, but he said search for them as their differences are minor and may work for your application.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the assistance. I managed to find one on the Performance Years forum and I should get it in the next week or so. He had the exact one for my car in his toolbox!

Is there a book or some other reference available for doing the part number cross reference? I am trying to see if there is a current GM replacement number for 3906656 which is a water pump pulley for a 68 L78. Thank you.

Bill, the part#3906656 pulley was discontinued 09-2002 with no supersession to a new number.GM shows it last fitting a 66-67 Corvette 427 w/o a/c.Hope that helps. Its nice having a GM computer sitting in front of you to help people out.One of the perks of working at a dealership.
