Thanks Marlin
![]() I'm still mulling over what to do. I really don't want to convert the car to 4-speed, and that closes the door on the L78 option if I want to do the F.A.S.T. thing. The low HP 396's won't cut the mustard in F.A.S.T trim...but they were available with a 400 Turbo. Go figure. ![]() Of course, I could always build the thing the way I want to (468-ish motor, lots'a orange paint, 400 turbo and 4.56's...) and just enjoy the thing. ![]() That oughtt'a be fun, no? ![]() The Springfield swap meet is this weekend...maybe I'll stumble across something out there that'll help me decide which direction to go. (supposed to be a balmy 30 freakin' degrees Sat. am, and I ain't looking forward to wandering around in that!) Where did the summer go? ![]() |

[/ QUOTE ] Update: Looks like there's no need to "convert" the car over to a 4-speed...turns out after some trim tag deciphering that the car is an original Q-code bench seat 4-speed that someone's converted to automatic. (what can I say?...I'm still on my learning curve with trim tag option codes) Hmmmmmmm........ ![]() Anyone know where I can find a set of 391's and an 069 intake for cheap?!? lol ![]() |
