[ QUOTE ] Here is one. Looks like the prices on these have now cracked $40K asking. http://www.arizonaconnection.net/mor....html?78900195 Phil [/ QUOTE ] Incorrect stripes, especially the rear, incorrect year wheels (late model). Door panels should be woodgrain if the dash is. Z87 option would have: Custom Interior: Includes Custom Seat, Door and Quarter Trim; Glove Compartment Light and additional Instrument Lighting; Wood-grain Accents on Steering Wheel, Instrument and Door Panels; Luggage Compartment Mat and Special Hood and Interior Insulation. Trim Code must be specified Z23 Option has: Interior Accent Group: Includes additional Instrument Lighting and Wood-grain Accents on Steering Wheel and Instrument Panel. Included with Custom Interior (Z87) [/ QUOTE ] Hey Mark, I hate to bash cars- but since we are now ripping this one up lets not forget the following details: Wrong Headlites- Z-28 insiginia in the grill is crooked and misplaced, in the engine compartment: Hinge tops are not phospated, Master cylinder is the wrong casting, Plug wires are wrong, the wiper motor is wrong for RS The water pump is the wrong casting...I could go on and on here, but the car would be a nice driver and looks like that is the way the guy is selling it. It is clearly not a show car. Phil |

I emailed the ARIZONA Z-28 seller asking for misc proof that car was REAL Z-28 etc, etc....He wrote back only saying that car WAS REAL , but would offer no pics of trim tag, gas pedal, or anything we look for...

Chuck,
Looks Kinda like most of the Z's that were Raced or "Day 3" cars and then got a quickie Resto in the 1980's. Lots of those cars appeared in the car for sale areas at the swaps back in the late 80's the last time prices started to creep up. I will bet the guy selling this one has lots of comments on this car from prospective buyers -given the asking price. Phil |
