I have seen a lot of blue '69-'70 Shelbys but don't recall seeing a red one. Looks sharp. Nice car Judge.

Top Shelf car Mike!

Seems the GT 500s are in the spotlight more often then the GT 350s and I always wonder why? Clue me in please.

The GT 350 weighs in at around 2700 lbs. It handles great. I feel it is underated at 290 horse power it runs as hard if not harder then Ram Air III Judges I have owned. A quick calculation puts a GT 350 at around 9.3 lbs per 1 hp. In comparison to RA IV Judge at around 3700 pounds at around 10 lbs per 1 hp. Please do not think that I am saying a Shelby is faster than a IV because not many Shelby's had more then 3.25 gears and IV cars IMO are underated as well.

The GT 500's were more of a brute muscle car as the GT 350's were the Trans Am racing series cars, I have always liked the GT 350's because of their racing heritage, that's not to say I would pass on a nice GT 500. Man, there is not much room to change the spark plugs on a Gt 350, just imagine a 428 wedged between the aprons. All Shelby's have many specific parts that are not found on other Mustangs. Even the leaf springs on Gt 350's and 500's are Shelby specific.

Thanks for the compliments everyone

Bob, you are always welcome to a test drive

have you actually weighed your Mustang. That seems a little light to me. Without looking it up, I would thing it should be closer to 3200 lbs.

That does seem light, holy cow, with power to weight ratio, I won't be picking on any of them at the dragstrip!

Are you bringing it to the Vargo show?
