When I got this car 10 years ago, (which is a whole other story), a restored COPO, WITH DOCUMENTATION, was selling in Hemming for $30-35K. The cost of a full resto would have been more than the car was worth. After 10 years of deffered maintenance, it was time to freshen it up a bit, but since I don't own a truck or trailer, I didn't have it repainted because I like driving it, and don't really have the patience for having it graded like a steer at the state fair. Just my opinion. I have no objection to points judging, but I like to drive. I would be scared to death of driving it if it was totally correct and complete.
I've put about 6,000 miles on it in 10 years, and it still has just under 21K on the clock. I just can't figure out how I've managed not to blow it up.  Thanks for your interest, Andy
