Re: 1970 Plymouth Superbird
Buy it, NOW! Worry about details later. How much could they want for it if they don't know what it is?

Re: 1970 Plymouth Superbird
the v must be a u, the a13 designation will be on a fender or cowl tag.

Re: 1970 Plymouth Superbird
I would say it was a Superbird has all the proper add ons. If thats the air cleaner on the back package shelf it must have been a 440 single quad car. The only problem is by the time your done restoring that car you could probably buy a nice one. In 1991 I paid 2 grand for a rear spoiler cant imagine how much they are today

Re: 1970 Plymouth Superbird
Is that car in NJ? My neighbor knows a guy who he grew up with in Northern NJ who bought one new and it has been in his back yard rotting away for years.

Re: 1970 Plymouth Superbird
Here is another Superbird that has been sitting since the 70's. Still with the original owner. It is a 440 car, I believe 440 6 pack. The owner says he will never sell. It is at the point where it is to far gone to restore. He has been offer everything from cash to a brand new car to a corvette.

Re: 1970 Plymouth Superbird
The house was foreclosed on about 6-8 months ago. The owner of the house owns the car. I couldn't believe he would not sell it to keep his house. The day before the foreclosure was final a tow truck came in the middle of the night and dragged it on it's rear quarters onto the flatbed.
