[ QUOTE ]
At SCR6, the majority of these added costs were covered by a very special "Friend of the Reunion", who we all owe a big round of thanks to. [/ QUOTE ] Whoever this might have been, thanks a lot! I for one had a blast at the drags. Hope it can be done for next years. Tom count me in for a donation for track time. It's a must.

I'd vote for racing like SCR6 on Friday prior to the show. That allowed a great bench racing session Friday night in the parking lot about the days activities.(like Shor's launch) I think if it was on Sunday, fewer people would attend and then many would leave for home directly from the track. I'll do my best to pinch Herb's elbow and see if he'll come along. Friday would probably be the best day, as indeed, the participation will be higher. I'll just need to check the post-race schedule to make sure I don't miss anything next year, like the pre-show set-up!

Friday was good this year. Too much pressure on the weather and people's travel schedules on Sunday morning only. Also doing the conference center load in on Saturday makes it less painful for people to get up in the morning after a tough night in the parking lot. I think it makes for a more relaxed weekend overall. Better for me too because Monday ain't a holiday over here...
