Tony, you may have to find a set of the original Torque Thrust D's to fit your car. I tried to mount this set of wheels on my 68 and the backs of the spokes would not clear the front calipers. My car has the orignal 4-piston calipers for that year as should your car. Contact American and have them give you the depth measurement of the mounting surface of the hub to the back of the spoke. If it is not at least 3/4" then you will have to run spacers. They may have corrected this problem already.

The original wheels are a true "D" shaped spoke on the front and back but the new wheels are only curved on the fronts. This is why American came out with the "D" so it would fit 65-up Corvettes and 67-68 GM cars with disc brakes................RatPack.....................

I have an old set of Torque Thrusts that have "American Racing Equipment" Cast into the wheel a script type lettering. I was told that might help in identifying their approximate age since the later ones did not have that. Anyone know what range of years had that script?
