Jim;
'Best' is a subjective term, since I like my whitewall's the best I know they are not the most popular, but I can deal with that. I think it adds to the humility factor when you dust somebody!

Pete;
I don't have your GM of Canada sheet here at work, so what's the RPO code for the lettered tires? It must be something unique to Canada since the US cars couldn't be ordered with anything but whitewall or blackwall in '70. I can't attach the sheet of a loaded '70 L78 on EBAY, (it's too big) it has PL1 (?) for the white striped tires.

Not Bad, Not bad ...
I think it really depends on the type of wheel. The "SS" wheels on the Deuces with the whitewalls has a "different" non-muscle car look, IMO.

There is a difference between Whitewall tires,and Whiteline tires.
Whitewalls are much wider and belong on Cadillacs.
Whiteline tires add to the definition of most any car, I think,even MuscleCars.
Joe Swezey's 68 Harrell Chevelle has Whiteline tires.

We have all of the original interior,it is extra nice.the car is a 30,000 mile car that spent a lot of time sitting.the guy that owns the car is the 2nd owner.he has all the paper work that came with the car,bill of sells everything.when the car was bought new the original owner told them to take the srtips of and paint the car blue.this was done before he took the car home.i did not put the correct overspray on the bottom.jerry want the whole bottom body color.i hope i have ererything else correct.NOS smug stuff.i sent the carb back to holly for a rebuild.NOS center caps,all bolts have been plated.i hope to show the car next year.
