Kurt, I'm pretty sure those first sixteen Z28s all had 4P on their cowl tags. If the original drivetrain has disappeared, you'd have to be pretty observant (eg. 4-spd, cowl plenum hole, assembly date, PDB, etc) to know what you're looking at. The point of my earlier posting is that there may sometimes be a grain of truth in some of these outrageous seller claims.

Wonder if his HOLLY carb leaks. I think there were more than 55 with the flares and hot pink strips

This is a follow up on the 66 Z/SS

This is a 1968. sorry my fingers missed on the original add. the vin# is 124378n366013. I was told this informations by a rare car collector in my local area who had looked my car up.

Hard to see that the vent window was missing.

Didn't all 67-69 Z-28's or SS cars have power brakes as standard equipment? I can't see the power brake booster........Joel

Joel,
All of the original 67-69 Z28s that I have seen had Power Disk Brakes, from the factory.

Super Sport Camaros however, didn't get pwr discs as standard untill the 1969 Model year.

I've seen 1967s with manual disks and 1968s with power drums.

I was surprised. That was how in 1997 we bought a car with manual drum brakes and it was purported to be a SS (69). Gee, that is scary to have a car with alot of GO, and not much on the stopping power. What brought Chevrolet around to the realization that Chevrolet needed power brakes, insurance claims, ect.??...........Joel
