I’ve had good luck with glass beads. As the book says pull the nozzle away at the end to blend everything. I finish with a flat clear to maintain the as cast finish.

You can dull it down with a acid.

This is why I tumble/shake in ceramic media.....to get the die cast "LOOK"
back.................
