I only owned the car a few months. Posted it for sale in Hemmings Motor News.
Sold it to a guy from Long Island New York. He flew into the Tallahassee, Florida airport. I picked him up in the car and he dropped me off at my house and then drove the car back to New York. I sold the car for $5500.
It was very different from any transaction today.

That car is one of my favorites. Sexy and sinister.

Slots were the way to go. My first Corvette in 1977, I still love the way this car looks, I still have two of these Good Year tires in my attic as I put Radial TA's on shortly after I bought it.

Bill - didn't your red LS6 that you sold Bob S. back in the late 80's have slots on it when you got it?

----I think so, but I gave Bob the only pics I had of the car. I had slots on both my 69 435 Corvette and my 70 Corvette. Back then I loved them. Now I'm a serious TT-D nut case. Working on another set of 15's, 6 and 7's that crossed my path....Bill S

----Took a look thru some old albums and that LS-6 had a set of turbine style wheels! That LS6 was probably the lowest option LS-6 I ever owned!
