Yep, thanks for posting the correct angle photo to get a good idea of the damage - imagine buying it from just those auction photos and then having this show up... subterfuge I think they call it...
 What were they asking for it then? Just curious. Cheers.That looks like the A-pillar of a '57 Chevy...

Despite that severe impact damage, amazing that the roof doesn’t look to have bent.
Might be the only undamaged panel remaining

Looks like it slid sideways into a pole or bridge abutment at a fairly high rate of speed. I seriously doubt the driver could have emerged alive or at least not very seriously injured. Even with side airbags the forces from a side impact like that would probably kill you.
