Hi again Gang, to answer the PMs and to further The Cause; here's a shot of measurements. And yes, they were clearly painted front and back - likely chassis semi gloss black. The "W" stamp / supplier seemed to be for the longer 69 units, and the triangle stamp / supplier was the shorter 68 ones. FYI all.
