I like redlines and steelies, but I would be in a hurry to put some vintage torque thrusts or Cragars on that car. Luv everything else about it!! That 325 hp stick would be fine with me.

I know where there are four mint American Racing wheels T70Rs for sale that would look great on that car.

I looked at the link and do not see the car listed under 2016. What are the award classifications in ranking order. Larry

We did certify the car @MCACN 2016 and it was awarded Heritage. The owner was provided score sheets which he could provide you with specifics. If he is unable to find, I can provide them with his approval. I know he was addressing some things in our report. The owner is a great guy.

Vintage Certification Awards are divided into five divisions:
  • Vintage Time Capsule - Vehicles that are 95+% unrestored in all reference areas
  • Vintage Legend - Vehicles that are 85+% unrestored in all reference areas.
  • Vintage Heritage - Vehicles that are 85+% unrestored in five reference areas.
  • Vintage Legacy - Vehicles that are 85+% unrestored in four reference areas
  • Vintage Reference - Vehicles that are 85+% unrestored in at least two reference area.

I have long wondered about the door latch screws. I have an original paint 67 granada gold Camaro and the screws are not painted. My thought process is the doors were painted without the latches in them leaving the latch and screws unpainted. Latch and screws installed after the doors were painted leaving them unpainted.

67 the latches were installed after paint.

68 and 69 the latches were installed before paint.

My 69 Z had traces of paint on the latch (most of the paint would have fallen off, because the latch was greasy and oily) but the latch screws were painted body color. My car had never been repainted before I did it. I have had it since 75.
