Here is another 73 R/S Z/28 that I added the spoilers and stripes to the car. It was a factory Black dash-dash trim code car. This was more than 15 years ago.

The Type LT gave you the lower blackout trim?

That car looks awesome in that color combo. But so strange the Z/28 badges were deleted with the model.

I had a red 74 Z/28 back then. It was a Type LT with spoilers and the one year only stripes. No Z/28 badges anywhere. Another guy around town had a 74 Z/28 Type LT with no stripes and no spoilers. He had the small Z/28 decal near the RH tail light and two metal badges on the front fenders. His Camaro was a late production and was fitted with HEI ignition.

I am not expert on the 74 but I have heard that if you got the stripes with the LT you got no badges and no stripe got badges. I am pretty sure the giant Z28 on the stripes was enough to alert everyone you had a Z28.

Right. No badges with the stripes. Also agree with the Type LT statements. Blue Type LT horn button, wood grain dash cluster and nicer seats and door panels. Man, I miss that car!

I don't think the sticker would even fit on the RH rear panel with the LT emblem and the LT trim that was on there.
