If I wasn't 5 years into my 70Z project, I would seriously look at this car.
Buddy EDIT After looking at all the pics on the website, my car is a cream puff! This car needs too much!!

I looked at this car a few weeks ago and spoke to the owner at length. As others have noted, the back half of the car is seriously roached. The owner knows his numbers and told me he verified everything to be matching and it does look very untouched. I was not serious about the car so did not take the time to verify anything myself. He also has a 68 GTX that was a local car since new. Drug it out of a garage where it had been since the '70's after a fender-bender with a motorcycle. Un-modified original for the most part, complete with Playboy mags from the '70's in the trunk!

This car in question NEEDS a different body. There is NO WAY that anybody comes out "above water" in trying to save that badly rusted shell, rear frame....
I have never seen or read of somebody xfering the Z-28 VIN, TRIM tags and firewall VIN to another 70/71 body.....but I question the finished "value" versus the Total Cost Involved to do so... I am currently working on a 98% Rust Free 73 Camaro. I had everything media blasted, epoxy primed etc..... I tried to post my pics but system wouldnt allow ?????

No-sale last time around, I can't say I'm surprised. Will be interesting to watch the latest auction to see if the seller has come around on the reserve price:
