I'm with Taz on this one. The 63 SWC is simply the pivotal car in the Vette lineup. To the extent possible, it should remain original or restored to original. Just too few left around that haven't been hacked on ( not this one--that's anything but a hack; but, you know what I mean)

We didn't build the car, the owner did. It's his third Pro-touring / resto mod Vette. He just finished it and we put the tune on it and got it running right.

It's a sensational car up-close. There aren't many restomods done with the C7 suspension and an interior integrating the C7 design elements so seamlessly. The C7 seats look just right in a restomod C2.

I like original 63-67 Corvettes as much as anyone, but a well-done restomod is the way to go if you want to drive it all the time.

I guess I am too much old school -- has too be hot inside, rough riding, ill handling, and bone stock ... but I can also see the flip side of the coin. TAZ

I get it. If I could have two, it would definitely be a 67 L71 and a restomod 63 like this. But since I can only have one at a time...it has to be a big block with solids and tripower.
