Chrome is for bumpers and wheels .... The engine bay looks good .... The orange really pops against the black bay

Thanks guys.

As for the inner fenders and firewall, that is just black zerorust from a rattle can.

http://zero-rust.com/index.php

I brushed the same stuff on the undercarriage and floor pans. It seems like it is a little more bit more of an "industrial" paint than your typical hardware store rustoleum. Gloss level is pretty good for applications like this (maybe just a touch too flat). When using it with a brush on the undercarriage, it seemed to flow-out decent enough to where most brush strokes disappeared. Much easier clean-up than POR15 and other rust paints (and I've had issues with POR15 flaking in the past).

The only thing to watch, is that they claim the black is not UV stable unless top coated. However, the firewall / inner fenders in the picture above were painted in ~2007, and the car has been at shows with the hood up in direct sunlight plenty of times. So far there is no fading or any other issues, but you may not want to use it on something that is in the sun all the time.

The engine is Dupli-color 1620 Chevrolet Orange, top coated with Duplicolor engine enamel clear.
