The 1967 Chevy II order form is missing the 195 horsepower 283, which was definitely available, so what is to say that not having the L79 listed is not a mistake too?

The 195 HP V/8 was not an optional engine in 1967. If you wanted a V/8 in the Chevy II 100 series you ordered a 114, in a Nova 400 it was 116, and SS 118. There was a designated V/8 model number for each series and the 195 HP/283 was the engine all V/8 cars came with unless an optional V/8 was ordered. Four and six cylinders were similarly designated by model number. The engines on the order sheet are the optional engines. Hope this makes sense.

Man Dave, you've got a lot of cool documents. I guess your not named nova boy for nothing.

Thanks Dave and mark for making me feel better about doing the tires I'd like even though it's a bit of a stretch. I think the correct rallys, marina blue paint, and redlines are going to look pretty cool on this car.

I appreciate all the help.

Oh, and those 67 order forms are cool. I'd read u couldn't order an L79 in 67 but hadn't ever seen the sheets before. That is pretty neat.
