While working on my book, I mentioned to some T/A Javelin experts that the paperwork for my car has a T/A Jav in a ledger below - owner traded it in for a Rebel Machine. One of the AMC guys took the lead and did a search for the name. A few hours later he emailed me back and said that he found the original owner. I did call the owner and asked him for his email so I could show him the invoice from the dealership, but since I didn't speak with him first, I missed the thrill of finally tracking someone down - I've had that thrill before upon establishing the identity and it's an unbelievable feeling - congrats to you!

FANTASMAGORICAL!!!!! That's awesome especially since you thought that perhaps he had passed on! What a great story and I'm sure you're proud as punch to get those pictures. I find it fitting that we both finallygot our "Super Cars", displayed them at MCACN last year with us having a 13yr reunion of sorts, and then we both get pics this year with their original owners!
