Here is the description of the dates of the motor compared to when the car was built as per the ebay ad ....

"Original 1970 Yenko Deuce. Yenko stock #YS-047. Non original engine or trans. Rear end believed original with 3.55 gears. Engine replacement casting is #3970010 dated 4-1-1970 and transmission 3-3-1970. These are suitable replacements for the car as the build date of the car is 4th week of may 1970. Restoration is around 8 years old now. Milage is believed to be correct at just over 26,000. There are way too many details on the car that would take forever to type on here. All interested buyers are encouraged to inspect in person. Serious buyers please email me and I'll gladly call back to discuss further!"

.... still looks like a great car to own

I remember discussion about the rear back when it came up for sale prior to restoration. Discussion was whether any deuces came with a different rear. If the stamping is CBW it would be the factory COPO stamp for a deuce 4.10. Any other ratio would need to be stamped on the tube. That leads me to believe the rear housing is factory correct with different internals added some time later.

Yes, that is my understanding as well. My notes state that the rear in this car is indeed a CBW, dated 0512 G2 - exactly where it should be.

EBaY is a good for marketing, not so much at establishing market value.

I contacted the seller, he said that he has sold the car.
So good for him, I did not ask the price, I am sure if he wants to share he will post the price.

EBaY marketing! Not a bad thing for the price.
