Yes it is, for 1968. If that's definitely a legit broadcast sheet, I'd say it's definitive proof at least some of the 68 Yenko cars came factory equipped with the Rally II wheels. I know there is a vintage pic floating around of a couple of dealer traded non-converted COPO '68 cars on the lot at Kenny Ross that definitely did NOT have Rally II's. (One of those cars is enio45's green car.)

There was recently a pic unearthed of Don standing beside a '68 Yenko Camaro with Atlas wheels... Maybe the cars that came with the steelies got the Atlas mag wheels when converted? Just a thought, and interesting stuff for sure.

Makes me wonder if any of the Deuces could have been factory shipped with the AO coded magnum 500's instead of the XT's too....

when I researched the correct wheels - the JC has to be the code especially if it is a 68 wheel and it is 14 x 6.

14 x 7 wheels were 69 wheels and not avail until 69 production....so for don to get Pontiac wheels over the counter to fit on 68 converted cars (as we are told) they had to be 68 style, JC, 14 x 6.

The broadcast sheet to me is suspect...but I never have seen one for a 68 yenko car. Maybe Kurt can shed some light on the one he has.

That broadcast sheet is real. It appeared in some of the articles about the car.

E is Fathom Blue, which doesn't apply to the wheels anyway. IIRC, those wheels came in already painted.

Was this car (with the broadcast sheet) built later or earlier than your unconverted car enio45? I'm thinking maybe the later 68's had the rally II's added to the COPO orders to avoid the need to swap wheels during the sYc conversion... again, just speculating.

When I was looking for wheels, I think the JA would work too...
Also on the Yenko dealer paperwork for my car the word 'hubs' is written in. Never could figure out that one. Something to do with the wheels? Never heard about the Pontiac wheels being put on at factory. Do Warren or Mark remember?

Ed's is a late car - July.

Yenko's use of the Pontiac wheel may not have been as odd of a choice as it seems today.

Chevy was going to use that wheel also and it is shown in the early 1968 Chevelle option brochures. It is shown with a Chevy bowtie center cap.
For some reason, it was not used on the Chevelle.

Don may have seen it on the early 1968 Chevelle info release

My car is very late in the production - 07E car according to the trim tag

sold to the first owner sept 10th or so from the protecto plate paperwork

Kurt - however, the paint code would apply if they were XF wheel - and I guess it would say XF on the build sheet.....so this all is confusing and interesting.
