Cool '61, hope it's a real fuelie also hardtop only car w/ big brakes!
Google Map where you were and try to Street View the house number.
If you can come up w/ the address, you may be able to get their # and name?

I drove out from chicago to look at a car like that in PA, about ~5 yrs ago or more. It was on ebay. Was in a old converted firehouse that looked just like that one.
there was a nice 64 vette inside too.

Car had lots of issues.
was not a big brake (I collect those), not even sure it was a real fuelie, I am pretty sure the engine was wrong.
think it was a gold car under the paint.
Looks like the exact same car.
ask them about a 64 inside [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/smile.gif[/img]
that firehouse was a trip to go through, if its the same building.
decent folks own the car, and were ok to deal with.

Believe me u are not missing anything ,that car has been forsale for awhile and has lots of issues and he wants alotta $$$ for it...was smacked up several times and lots of stuff wrong but it is a real fuelie with orig block i recall..

That's what I figured. A little bit too high given where the final value could be less the resto costs.
