Did the overspray usually hit the trim tag like that? Down that far?

That overspray on top of the cowl/firewall looks a lot like base, not lacquer. The odometer numbers aren't lined up either.....worth a skeptical inspection for sure.

Not unusual at all for some overspray to hit the trim tag.

Thanks Lynn.

This beautiful car presents a quandary - do you pay more for a properly detailed original car using correct appearing finishes or for preserved original patina? Is that a matter of personal preference?

Either way, 119K? For a non-RS, no cowl hood, standard interior green car? That's a bit tough to swallow. Originality does not trump desirable options/colors when you get into that kind of money. And I am not saying I am one, BUT, the skeptics out there will refer to the ONLY documents included (P-O-P and window sticker) as THE two most counterfeited docs in the Chevrolet community. 2cents.

It's certainly an impressive car - I owned a '69 Z in the same color scheme (car had spoilers and cowl hood though) and it was a real stunner. As for the $$, we'll have to see if someone feels the car is a good value at that price...

Don't know about 119k, but wouldn't be surprised to see this one changing hands at or near 100k

Well Des like we go back and forth all the time. What is a "true" survivor car? Original paint car IMO does not make it a survivor? It means the paint survived but other things did not. How about an unrestored car with one repaint? I like that alot. Can't believe that green LS-6 Chevelle is still around.
