I do not understand why guys slap on a 1969 Steering Wheel horn shroud with 69 emblem on a 1970 Chevelle
Repro dash housings seem to be the norm too on there restos.
If i am buying that caliber and price range of a car i want that stuff on the car There are many other things wrong but i will stop babiling.

Is it known or believed to be a real LS6?

Just like air conditioning,a 3:55 ratio was not possible on an LS6 chevelle.
A 3:31 open or posi or 4:10 posi was.

The 3:55 open or posi was possible on the L78 Chevelle/Elco.

They should really display a better close up photo of the buildsheet,as it might just be a typo on their part.

Always a possibility but then it is a supposed real LS6 convert so why skimp especially on items that cost pennies when compared to the overall cost.

I never in either description read the "number matching" line. You all know more that me on LS6 Chevelles as I haven't had on in about 15 years. But, I know there is some stuff on both cars that aren't technically correct. Maybe it won't matter---Does Mecum have an open bar like Barrett-Jackson?

I don't claim to have the best eyesight in the world or the clearest computer monitor, but it sure looks to me like that buildsheet pictured has listed...

F41 SPC ???? SUSP
G80 POSITRACTION
??? 355 RATIO AXLE
J50 POWER BRAKES

The question marks are characters that I really can't make out. If that is indeed how it reads, it's either the only one in existence or it's a bogus sheet.
