Hey Kurt, How many Z10's had black vinyl roofs? There's one local to here that has one?

Sorry Don for the mini-Hijack. Cool car! (Like you always have!!)

Don't know the answer to that Bruce, but I have only seen one.

We did a car show here in about OKC about 10 to 12 years ago. Had about 45 first gen entrants, and three were Z10 cars.

I am one of the few guys out there that don't really care for orange, but I always liked the fender stripes on these cars. That pinstripe was not available on the Z/28.

Most Z10's I have seen have A/C, which makes sense given where they were sold.

I owned a Z-10, bought it in Ftn Hills in the late 70's or early 80's. Paid $1350 for it, std white interior. Was repainted to get rid of the stripes. Auto L48 a/c car. Used to see a lot of them in Phx, most all got bought and shipped east to rust ...

A friend owns one, his wife bought it used from Courtesy Chev when it was a couple years old, it has a blk roof as did a couple of the others I used to see in Phx. The trim tag I pulled from one stacked in a crushing yard had a blk roof too ..

Nice options on a rare car.

More than I thought, looks like about 15% had tops.

I'm always interested in Z10 data - the VIN and a pic of the tag tells me a lot.

Thanks!

I have one with the black vinyl roof, that's a good question though, I don't know how many had the vinyl roof??

I had just posted - about 15%. So combined with my production estimates of 400-500, that yields 60+ cars.
I've only seen one with a white vinyl top, btw.
