In 1974 when I worked the afternoon shift at the Pepsi bottling plant on Boundary Road, I would go for a drive after work, usually 1AM. Often I would drive to Squamish, and it was a winding 2 lane road back then. I had a 69 Z28 and it would be a great drive listening to that 302 just sing, and of course there was almost never any other traffic.
A 302 sings like no other when you're going through the gears on a winding mountain road with the windows down. Thanks for the reminder!
