Spoke to Steve and his wife at MCACNs. Amazing car, with a great story! Owners are all class too...

A select few dealers were actually doing what Joel was doing and modified some 70 Chevelles too, that looked identical to Joels product.

I would love to see some vintage pics or adds of "knock-off" Motion cars.

I realize there were other dealers doing mods, but each onw kinda had their own signature or style. Were there ones that really did a carbon-copy of what worked for Motion?

I was friends with Alex when he had this car in the 70's. I was a punk teenager at the time and went for many a ride in this car. When Alex owned it it had a 7" snorkel hood scoop with "WHITE LIGHTNING" painted in black letters on the side of the scoop.

I remember one afternoon when a few f my motor head friends were hanging out infront of the auto/metal shop garage door when Alex pulled up in this and got it stuck in first and second gear and my friend (who owned a 67 RS-SS convertable) had to crawl under the car and pop the linkage.
I actually posted about this car on this sight several years ago hoping to find it was saved.

THIS IS GREAT NEWS.

Rich

Hey Rich....It's Joe. Rich Tower's(shell/gulf station in Summit) son..I talked to my dad about this car some time ago..he said No "S" it was a real Motion Car...I knew that back in the 80's. I did get a ride in it once also to the auto parts store, after my dad tuned it for Alex....it was fast. I too have talked to Steve about his car...top knotch guy.
