Both items are easily replaced, moot point. Let the original documentation and the cars history guide you.

A friend bought one identical to this car new from Rapids in Cedar Rapids Ia. A Malibu was way cheaper to insure than a SS 396,and a well tuned 350 was about as fast as a 325hp 396.

[/ QUOTE ] it's not a moot point, when the price is 40k. my brother's w-31 has 134,000 miles on it,and his original brake and clutch pedals dont look that bad. the documentation(window sticker) has already been called fake is that the guide you're talking about?

I sure like the car. I am guessing this is not the same car that Scott S was selling early this year, although it appears to be similarly equipped??? [/ QUOTE ] The Scott S car is now in Somerset, NJ ![]()

pretty rough looking brake & clutch pedals for 20k original miles [/ QUOTE ] Andy, My 69 SS has 27K miles and the clutch pedal pad is pretty rough. The pedal pads on this car look original and don't look too bad to me. If you think about how much a clutch pedal gets used, especially if the driver is a down-shifter; I'd say these don't look bad. Just my $.02 worth. Phil Woj. |

They are original to this 22,000 mile car as is most of the rest of the interior.
